I've used Tritz three times in the past and was happy with them, but today they charged me $90 for nothing. The power cable to my sump pump was leaking some kind of goo, so I called to have the pump evaluated and possibly replaced. Tritz came out, told me they've never seen anything like it, and left. No solution. One hour later, I get the invoice. Apparently they charge you even if they don't fix anything.
Keep that in mind. Tritz charges you just to look at your problem and do nothing.

We had 2 new bathroom faucets that needed to be installed. We were charged $645 just for the installation. They do not give estimates and the plumber cannot tell you how much the job costs. You can image our shock when we got the bill for such a small job.

Tritz is awesome! We use them for all our plumbing needs - they're always able to come out quick and they get things fixed at a fraction of the price compared to some of the big wigs in town. Every tech guy that has come to our house is always willing to look at other problem areas and give helpful advice at no extra charge. They're a great local company that does great work, it's very obvious they care about their customers.

I wish to thank the two plumbers who caught my run away dog, Charlie, last week. They were outside their truck and I asked them if they saw it. They did see it a half block away. and the three of us chased Charlie into a fenced back yard and as Charlie tried to run the fearless Fritz plumbers pinned him down caught him! Fritz Plumbing Cares!

Tritz was hired as a subcontractor by my generator company to install the gas line for the generator. A young plumber and an apprentice showed up to do the work on Friday. They did their best but perhaps due to lacking experience, their best was a frustrating experience for us. They needed reminder to take their boots off when coming into the home, they cut drywall by ripping pieces out (so now I need to buy drywall for the restoration), they laid a pipe right above an egress window well cover so the cover would not open up, they left mess here and there and forgot to connect the grounding wire to the new gas line. None of these are horrible things and I would give them more than one star however, a couple of hours after they left the gas water heater (which is a six-month-old unit) turned itself off and would not re-lit. I called Tritz’ and left a message (on Friday 5:30pm) in their emergency voice mail box. I did it again Saturday at 8:30am as we were without hot water and we had company coming for the weekend. THEY NEVER RESPONDED to the emergency! I waited until Tuesday and called them asking them to come back and fix the grounding wire and for an explanation about the ignored emergency calls. They promised to fix the grounding wire (which they did next day) and promised to investigate the failed emergency response and let me know (I have not heard back from them).
In summary, they do an ok job with plumbing but do not expect them to be there when an emergency strikes. For me these garners not more than a single star.
