I cannot recommend this company. I called for a main sewer line clean out on my residence. The AI scheduler gave me a four hour window for the next morning. The tech arrived within the window. It should have been a straightforward job but he couldn’t get started for at least an hour. I was not informed the reason for the delay. After another tech arrived and another half hour passed, the original tech got started. He snaked the entire 100 ft of line he had available and pushed something through but the water in the drain dropped and then refilled as soon as we tested it by running the shower/flushing toilets. He estimated he needed another 15-25 ft of line to finish snaking the line but he didn’t have it, nor did any of the other techs. I have never experienced this with any other prior plumbing company; they always have additional line. Anyway, the job was not completed but they still wanted the $230 that was quoted for the clean out. I spoke with Misty and argued that this was wrong as I still have to call another company to do the job and they will surely require full payment; they’re not going to charge me any less just because another plumber was already here! She insisted I had to pay for the tech’s time because he had already been here “a long time” and she’d had to send out an additional tech (I believe it was equipment-related, he left before the work commenced and I never spoke to him). Again, how is this my fault and/or problem? I finally agreed to a “service fee” of $95 just to get off the phone with her. A service for what, I don’t know, because I diagnosed the problem myself and I’m still in the exact same position I was in before I called them yesterday. Avoid this company for sewer line clean outs. They do not have the necessary equipment and they will make it your problem instead of rectifying the situation. I called A-1 Sewer & Septic Service and not only did they come out several hours later on the same day, they cleared the line in 20 minutes with 100 ft.

In a previous review, I stated that I felt overcharged on my last experience. Someone from Sharp Plumbing’s office reached out. We talked it through and they made an adjustment. They do great work. I just wasn’t as happy with that particular experience, but they have made it right by me. I appreciate their effort. I do highly recommend them.

Unbelievable service and integrity provided by sharp plumbing. Called 5 service providers in the area. All quoted me over $20k, trying to sell unnecessary services and repair. Sharp pluming pinpointed the issue and offered a simple straight forward solution, targeting the collapse pipe area, replacing it and solving the issue. Cutting the competition price by 75%!!! Very satisfied with their transparency and quality of work. Highly recommended!

Poor Communication, Incorrect Diagnosis, and High Pricing
I scheduled service for a slow-draining toilet and was quoted over $250 for a simple drain cleaning. The technician was supposed to arrive between 1–4 PM with a text notification, but by 4:30 I still hadn’t heard anything. When I called, I was told he’d “headed out a half hour ago,” even though I live less than 30 minutes away.
When he arrived, he spent under 10 minutes here. He claimed the issue wasn’t a clog at all but a so-called “mechanism” inside the bowl that had supposedly worn out and couldn’t be replaced, and then quoted almost $400 for labor only to install a new toilet I would have to provide myself. I’ve been around rental properties my entire life and know basic plumbing. I questioned him thoroughly and explained how toilets actually work, but was told I was wrong.
After he left, I cleared the real issue myself: a clogged flush passage. The toilet works perfectly now.
Despite doing essentially nothing and providing an incorrect diagnosis, I was still charged a $100 service fee.
Between the late arrival, lack of communication, incorrect information, and high pricing, I left feeling misled and talked down to. I would not use this company again.

Stephen Hamer was on time, very professional, and explained the whole process. Did a great job and cleaned up everything when the job was completed. I would recommend Sharp plumbing for your plumbing needs.
