They replaced a water heater for me last month. I called in the morning and spoke to Kevin, and Mitchell was there in the afternoon to install, day of. I found their price competitive with other local companies, and they installed a water heater that is apparently a lot better than what you can buy at one of the box stores, which is definitely a bonus. Mitchell was in and out in 3 hours and left the area cleaner than it was when he got there. Will definitely use again.

I have referred Schoofs many times. I just used them for a clients home. When the plumber left, there was an issue at the house. I was confused, but thought he probably didn't cause it so I didn't say anything. They called two days later with a question about the invoice and while I had them on the phone, I figured I'd ask if they could check with him to see if he knew what may have happened and stated I didn't want to make a fuss. I wasn't accusatory at alI- I was just thrown for a loop what could have happened so I figured I'd ask. (We later figured out the issue was caused by the home inspector who had been there a few days prior). The owner called me (I never asked to speak with the owner) and rather than simply asking what happened and talking things through with me, he was unbelievably disrespectful from the moment I answered. He was borderline yelling at me and saying I was accusing his employee. I asked him why he was speaking to me that way. I had to hang up the phone on him because he was telling me off on Christmas Eve. I was shocked because I really liked the plumber and just wanted them to check in with him and see if he knew anything. I had zero intention of blaming anyone.
Once I figured out what happened, I contacted them to let them know it wasn't the plumber that caused the issue. I'm not in the business of accusing anyone of anything, so I wanted to let them know we figured it out. I explained to the woman on the phone that I felt really disrespected and I refer them often. She did not care. Never ever again under any circumstance would I use this company. A friend that also uses them said that sounds like the owner and that's how he is. I am looking for any reason that makes sense to support someone that doesn't care if they have my business. A terrible experience.

I called to ask a general question and was able to talk to a real person right away, and the person was knowledagble about plumbing issues. I had called a few other places before calling Schoofs and only got automated or AI responses. It was nice to get a real person with real insight, free of charge. Thanks!

While an intended bath remodel was being done, an incidental leak was found in 2nd bath. Schoof's Plumbing and Mark of Emerald City Tile both, were dependable, respectful, reliable, affordable and above all, so so talented in their craft. Pleased beyond words!
