Thankful Review for Chris B & Matt W
Matt W came and cleaned out our drains. He was very efficient, friendly, and professional.
Chris B then came out to do a camera review of our pipes to see what current and preventative measures we may need to take. He was absolutely amazing! My fiancé and I are first time homeowners, and the pipes and plumbing can be some of the scariest parts of owning a home. Chris went above and beyond by taking the time to discuss what we were seeing on the camera, explaining the process, and laid out possible options. It did not feel like a salesman just here to sell us a pitch, but a person who genuinely listened to our concerns and laid it all out in a way we could understand.
Thank you so much to both of these gentleman for making this scary, stressful situation feel much more manageable!

We called two nights ago (Sunday night) as we had our kitchen sink back up. We tried to plunge it, used some Drain-O and no deal. I talked with the call center and asked them how much for a simple clogged drain and they won't give you even a rough estimate. Then the actual local company called and said they would have someone there in an hour. I asked repeatedly for a "ballpark" figure and they wouldn't disclose. I called a few others in the meantime and got quotes from $300-350 all inclusive. I told them IF/WHEN the guy comes out and gives us a high price, we would just have to say no and they said "np/fine". He came out and I showed it to him and he immediately quoted $480!! Then I told him TY for coming, but NO TY. Then we talked to our landlord and he scheduled someone to come on Wednesday. My wife and I continued to plunge last night and the drain CLEARED and it's 100% fine again! This "job" would have taken Roto-Rooter and/or ANY other company about 10-30 minutes maximum. With drive time included, probably 2 hours maximum. Your not attorneys or rocket scientists, so WHY charge freaking $480 for a 30 minute job Roto-Rooter! A lot of people say they got great service but also mentioned it was/is "extremely expensive". Most didn't mention actual PRICE. I am calling them out for what it is. A GIANT RIP OFF!!! Sorry but I will never call you guys ever again and maybe others will do the same thing if they read how much you ACTUALLY charge with your BS bait and switch/we'll come NOW and THEN ream you methodology? (....after seeing coporate response...here is mine.... I posted this ANONYMOUSLY as I don't need to hear from the corporate offices....like below.....acting like they have NO idea how bad they are ripping people off. We do fairly well, but I feel bad for all of the SENIORS that I am sure are getting ripped off by these guys. It's DISGUSTING! YOU KNOW you don't give quotes over the phone and then charge freaking $480 for a 10 minute job Roto-Rooter corporate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Chris Browning supervised 6 different co-workers from Roto Rooter to help identify our issues (including a handful we were not aware of). He was extremely informative, had the utmost patience with our questions and concisely outlined all of our options and related costs. He essentially educated us to where we could make the best decision possible.
Chris DID NOT try to “sell” us anything - his role was as a professional advisor. Hats off as well to Roto Rooter as an organization - all of these 7 people that worked / inspected the job (which was several thousand dollars) were professional and well skilled…good people are not easy to find.
While this was an expensive repair, it was necessary and we feel with the ongoing maintenance they recommend, we will hopefully have mitigated the risk of much more expensive problems in the future.
And most importantly, they came within 2 hours of our call to request service.
Thank you!

We called for same day service in the morning and they were supposed to arrive between 2-6 pm. We waited until 9 PM. They rescheduled the next day and showed up at 3 PM. They couldn’t find the source of the problem, but I asked and he offered to tighten a loose faucet for me…. He was disengaged and annoyed, though it took him seconds and I was charged $250 for the service. And the faucet isn’t even straight so I should have just done it myself. I don’t know what he had to be annoyed about, I’m the big loser in this situation. I’m so irritated and disappointed with this experience. I highly recommend going with a smaller company because the wait and customer service and cost 10000% not worth it.

First gentlemen that Didn’t show up until almost 11 PM when I called at 9 PM did not have the skills to get the snake down the drain. Had to wait until the morning to get a skilled snake operator to get it to go down. First one kept sending the snake up to the roof and I could hear it hitting the shingles second one came with a camera so he could get it down instead of up soaked me for $700 when help plumbing found out the next day they did it for $99 with free camera used to use Roto-Rooter all the time they seemed reasonable. They are awful now! Will never use them again. They will soak you for every dime every dollar every hundred dollars they can get out of you!
