Dang. What a nightmare. Sean, replaced my water heater but couldn’t seem to figure out how to fit the metal tray under the tank.. that tray would have protected my new investment of a water heater from future water damage: had it been installed.. but it wasn’t.
——— Seems that sean shuffled and shoved the tank in so tight he damaged my AC water lines…
now I have water everywhere again!! with no tray!!
what a nightmare.
During installation the technician Sean somehow flooded 2 units downstairs next to my unit and one upstairs.
I have no idea how plumbing works but I called Roto Rooter in trust of their professionalism.. 2 technicians were at my property and I still have water on the floor. Yes I have a new water heater—— but did I even need to replace it in the first place?!?!?!!!
I’m still standing in water??
crazy part is I left a positive review BEFORE the job was completed because Sean insisted it would help he gain credibility….but unfortunately the truth shows.

This was A Great experience overall I’m in tequesta Fl and I had a leaky hot water heater and Wesley J. from Roto-rooter responded very quickly to my home And he did such a amazing job From the bottom tray newly installed to the top of the Mew copper pipes to the middle of the Hot water heater Hard to find honest people Highly trained professionals as him self now days , he also moved my storage and put it back when finished ✔️ he did such a clean job and even added the water heater safety tank (thermal expansion tank) that I highly recommend I haven’t had hot water like this and pressure like this for quite some time he also walked me through every step of the way explaining what went wrong and showing me everything he was doing , the Guy knows his stuff I’d highly suggest when you call roto rooter to ask for him because he takes his job seriously and is highly educated . Thanks Wesley J !!!

Ticket #25063409 I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with Roto-Rooter, a company I have reliably used since 2009.
In June 2022, I hired your team for a water heater valve replacement, where I was charged a total of $298 for the installation of new valves and the removal of existing corrosion. Fast forward to 2026, severe erosion has built up around these parts. To be absolutely clear: there is absolutely nothing wrong with the valves themselves. However, because of the new erosion buildup around them, my property has failed a critical four-point inspection required for homeowners insurance in the State of Florida.
Today, I called Roto-Rooter to address this issue. I was shocked to be quoted a new price of $368 just to remove the erosion around the valves. Charging $368 for a basic cleaning is more than the $298 I paid for the entire valve replacement and corrosion removal job four years ago.
While I understand that inflation affects everyone, this pricing is incredibly unreasonable—especially for a loyal customer of 17 years and for an issue tied to a previous repair. This experience feels less like fair business and more like corporate greed. I expected much higher quality workmanship and far better customer loyalty from a company I have trusted for so long.

The team that took care of my house: Ricardo Kerr and Tazion Richards were the best. They worked diligently very long hours to repipe my house. Very nice and professional guys. They worked well together. They explained to me everything they were doing so I could understand. They moved my stuff with care around the house to access the walls that they needed to open. They did a clean job. I have recommended Roto Rooter to all my immediate neighbors but I also insisted for them to choose that specific team.

I had a great experience with the service technician from Roto-Rooter who came to my home, Wesley. He was extremely respectful, professional, and did an excellent job. He explained what he was doing, worked efficiently, and made sure everything was completed properly.
I also really appreciated that he was so considerate about my home—he even put on shoe covers without hesitation when I asked him to. When he finished the job, everything was clean and looked great.
Just a genuinely nice person and a great representative of the company. I would definitely recommend Wesley and Roto-Rooter.
