Alexander came through for us on super short notice and absolutely delivered. He cleared our pipes quickly and efficiently, but what really stood out was how he carried himself throughout the job. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain what was going on in a way that made sense.
Professional, intelligent, and easy to communicate with. It’s rare to find someone who combines technical skill with that level of courtesy and care.
If you’re looking for a plumber you can trust to do the job right the first time, Alexander is your guy. Highly recommend.

Alexander was very knowledgeable and did a great job with unclogging our shower drain. I was shocked at how much hair he was able to get out. We’re so happy to be able to take a shower without waiting two hours for the water to drain.

I made an appointment online, received a phone call and the service man was here in two hours. Mike did a great job and fixed our clogged toilet. He was professional, explained everything he was doing and was very nice. The price was a bit high we thought but it’s fixed and I know it’s expensive to get anything done these days.

We called our regular plumber for a clogged tub drain and it would be many days before he’d be able to come. So we called roto rooter and asked for a plumber. The next day they sent over what they call a drain tech, who came several hours later than expected. We didn’t find out he wasn’t a plumber until the guy, who was nice personally but didn’t help us, said he couldn’t unclog it with the snake and that he’d have to send a plumber. $200 for about an hour of work, slightly over.
The plumber they sent came the next day also came later than expected and then told us he’d need to cut into the floor of the closet next to the bathroom to do the fix, but wouldn’t do it because there was stuff in the closet and said he would have to come back when the closet is clear. He also wouldn’t wait for us to move any of it, and quoted us over a thousand to fix the drain trap, which was old and he expected might be the issue. $99 for him to come tell us he couldn’t do anything that day.
So after $300 and three days we still had no working drain in our only shower. Talked with RR on the phone, which I never ever do (but I promise I was very polite about it, customer service is a sucky job and it’s not like they personally failed to fix our drain). The manager I talked to was a little pushy and not very receptive to our complaint, and we only got the $99 of the $300 back. They said they’d apply that $99 to our fix and send somebody out, but we were pretty done at that point. The manager also tried to tell us that “any company we call would do the same” and send a “drain tech” first for a clog, which was said in a condescending way and also was demonstrably untrue. It feels like they send this person out first to maximize their profits if it turns out to be a bigger fix that the “drain tech” can’t handle. If I call and ask for a plumber specifically I should get a plumber, or they should disclose that the person they’re sending is not one.
We went to Lowe’s and got some lye drain unclogger and a drain plunger for $45 and with determination my partner and I unclogged the drain ourselves. Not bad for two arts majors with absolutely no professional experience or equipment, to do what roto rooter apparently couldn’t with an actual pipe snake. Wish we’d thought of the lye to begin with, but here we are.
Also we called our local plumber and they, as expected, sent a plumber (not a “drain tech”) a couple days later. The local guy replaced the old drain trap in less than two hours for just over $600, WITHOUT cutting into the floor. A HUGE difference from the over $1300 we would have paid with roto rooter, who were also going to cut into our floor unnecessarily, and it probably would have taken the exact same number of days for an actual fix that I can trust.
As it is we paid $200 to find out we’re never using this company again. Call trusted local folks, look for them by positive word of mouth. It’s worth the wait to get folks who know what they’re doing and will fix the issue right away without charging you incredible amounts of money for no reason.

Jon did a fantastic job tending to our clogged drain. He walked my wife and I through all the details of the work to be performed l, the reason behind the deep clog in our piping system, and even left us some additional drain cleaner on his way out! We appreciate his hard work and roto rooter showing up for us early on a Saturday morning!
