I had a busted pipe in my crawl space, so I called Roto-Rooter. They sent out someone pretty quick, which was the nice part. He seemed like a good guy, but was only the apprentice and needed to check in with his supervisor on stuff. He found where it was broken, but after a couple of hours/phone calls, it was recommended to repipe the whole house. I can't afford what the estimate was, so I told them to just fix it because every day more and more damage has been caused to our floors. That day I got a second call from the field supervisor, Jim Monette. He came in giving me the vibe that he was more like a salesman. I told him that we just wanted the fix and he said that he'd get a technician to our house the following morning, or the day after, at most. I didn't hear back the next day, almost called them, I didn't. The next day I called Jim early in the morning, he called the office and had them send an estimate. It was the same estimate as the repiping they already sent. I felt like either I was forgotten about, or they were trying to push it on me. I made more calls later on in the day and talked to someone who said they were the in-store manager and she told me they just flat out won't take on the project, unless they do a repiping. That all would be fine if they just told me the day they looked. They made me wait and make my own calls, all while more damage was being done to my home. I never write bad reviews for people, but it had to be said. Just be upfront and honest and don't try to sell me something I told you I can't afford.

When I tell you after dealing with this issue for over two weeks it was nothing but a blessing to have such an awesome person like Christopher come in to assist me today! It was heaven sent! Very polite and talkative it just made my day! The sink being fixed was just the bonus for me today!

Technician came out on a holiday and did not flinch when we showed him our problem. It took some extra work but he was able to get our main line clear. The next day there was the smallest of drips on the pipe. Roto sent out another tech on the next day to confirm the job had been done properly. Would definitely call them again!

If you need to call Roto Rooter, please ask for Jared R. He is an awesome guy, friendly and explains everything he’s doing without making you feel stupid. He has an awesome sense of humor. We thought the drain was cleared as a lot of running water went down, but as soon as he left it backed right up again. I called immediately and he turned right around and came back. Took another hour clearing the drain and making sure it was crystal. Overall, a 5 star service. You should note that my kid put expanding spray foam in the sink so this was no easy task, but he was lighthearted about it and took care of the problem. I hope this never happens again, but if it does, I know who I am calling.
