I've used Pure Plumbing on three occasions and while I've been satisfied with their work, I now realize they are among the most expensive plumbers. Shower repair job more than tripled in price from start to finish from $625 to $1,906.56. On another occasion, I was quoted $1,190 for a new Kohler toilet. I got another quote for the toilet and did it for $600 instead.
Accepted estimate of $625 for replacing shower cartridge quoted as a shower rebuild. Technician Daron Branch replaced the cartridge, but recommended pivoting to installing a new shower valve. Job became $1,796 plus $110.56 for parts for the attempt to replace the cartridge, totaling $1,906.56.
I've since found plumbers who also do excellent work at less than half the price. Do your due diligence and get a quote from at least one competitor before accepting any estimate from Pure Plumbing.

I am a long time customer of Pure Plumbing and they are great! They replaced 2 bathroom faucets and I signed up (again) for the Pure Plan (1970s house, lots of plumbing issues). Their prices are very reasonable. They notify you when they are coming, show up on time, give accurate estimates, keep you informed, are knowledgeable, polite and neat. Fantastic!

I would highly recommend hiring them as they have so good to me and my house. Namely their biggest positive is their field supervisor Dillon. He is tremendous, super friendly and really knows his stuff, you can tell. Their pricing is more than fair and they do an incredible job and I really felt like Dillon was looking out for me and wanted the best result for the repair to my house. Thank you Dillon!

CONSUMER BEWARE!
I was away at work, I sent my spouse a screenshot of the national average repair price for cutting and replacing a leaky pipe ($415-$500), while simple exposed repairs like ours in a crawlspace (ours is encapsulated and easily accessible) start around $150. We have used Pure Plumbing before and were pleased with their work and pricing, so I wasn’t too concerned.
Fast forward to later that morning when I see a charge for $925 go through. After a few days waiting and numerous phone calls, I finally got the itemized invoice I requested to help me understand and justify this blatant thievery. The bill was actually $1025, we had a “coupon” for $100 off.
In speaking with the owner, he informed me that they do “margin pricing” which in my opinion is a fancy term for maximize profits at the customers expense. Please take a look for yourself of the ridiculously high prices itemized on the invoice, circled in red in the attached pic.
Materials: $231.25
Labor $416.25
Admin $277.50
Totals $925, already high but they forgot the invoice was for $1025, unless there’s no true value to their “coupons”. Which would then make one of their fees:
Materials: $331.25 (for a $40 copper pipe)
Labor: $516.25 (for just over 1 hour of actual labor)
Admin: $377.50 (my share of admin fees for a simple service call is nearly $400?? INSANE!!!)
The invoice even states: THIS TASK IS FOR A SIMPLE WATER LEAK REPAIR”
I am angry and disappointed, we switched from our “big name” plumbing company to Pure Plumbing to prevent these types of practices, in reading other similar reviews about these con jobs, it would appear they have forgotten why their business is growing, and likely why it will decline going forward.
As a gesture of goodwill to resolve this, I requested at least a 30% refund which would drop the cost to $600, still on the high end for the work performed, I did not hear back.
I’ve read all the copy and paste replies to your negative reviews (“thank you for bringing this to our attention”, “we understand your frustration and disappointment”, “we have brought this to the attention of our management team”) …..please spare me the insincerity and don’t bother, they have lost their minds and my business, and hopefully yours.

Job well done! Micheal and Dillon did an amazing job finding the break and planning the fix. The crews were dedicated to doing the job Right. Pure Plumbing was fairly priced for the work required. We are so grateful for all that was committed to a “Job Well Done”. God Bless this Company from the office to each member of the crews!
