Our well pump stopped working on us a few days ago. We were working with a very limited budget and I desperately needed to get the water back on for my family asap. I was exploring options to try to do it myself, alone, when I ran into an issue that I couldn't safely work around on my own. I called a chain pluming service first and was quoted a pretty substantial price to replace the pump, piping, and bladder tank.
I finally emailed PNH Plumbing and Wells. They said they could replace my pump for nearly 1/4 of what the other company quoted! I checked a few reviews and it was easy to trust them with the job.
The same day I received and accepted the quote and had a crew at my house. Within a few hours of them arriving I had water restored!! The team from PNH was awesome, too! They were friendly, and took the time to make sure my family and I understood everything they did every step of the way. They verified some info about the well for me that we didn't have yet. They even said that my bladder looked brand new and didn't need to be changed, while the other company was pushing me to also get a new bladder. They even pointed out some things that needed addressed to keep the system healthy. On top of everything else they, even made sure the price we paid was fair and exactly what we needed to get back up and running. And they got us back up faster than anyone else could have.
PNH was honestly amazing. I'm so happy I found them! It's so refreshing to find a local company that cares about the community. If you are looking for help with your well, don't call anyone else. Go directly to PNH Plumbing and Wells! I couldn't possibly have asked for a better experience.

Highly recommend PNH Plumbing. Phil was honest, upfront, and made the whole process easy. I never felt overcharged or taken advantage of, which is rare these days. PNH were flexible with scheduling, and once we set the job, my water heater installation was quick and smooth. Phil and his team did great work and were professional from start to finish. They were already booked a few days ahead, but once they knew We were without hot water, PNH fit us in their busy schedule. If you need a plumber, call Phil at PNH Plumbing. I’ll definitely be using them again.

I don’t often leave reviews, but the service I received from PNH was truly exceptional and deserves to be acknowledged. From the very first interaction, it was clear that this is a company that takes pride in not only what they do but how they do it. They made multiple trips out to troubleshoot our issues and made sure we were not left without water!
Their team was responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to ensuring everything went smoothly from start to finish. What stood out most was their willingness to go above and beyond—not because they had to, but because they wanted to. In an age where quality customer service often feels like a thing of the past, PNH reminded me what true professionalism and personal care look like.

One star for making time in their busy schedule on a service call the same day I called. One star for using modern billing practice.
(Monday) Asked for them to take a look at my well due to copious amounts of sediment. I did not have potable water and was desperate, especially not being able to be home at the time of service . They removed rusted bolts from my well cap. They did not replace all of the bolts that were removed and did not properly tighten the cap, leaving a noticeable gap. PNH called with "good news" about an hour after arriving: we had water. I'm not sure if this was supposed to be a joke, but I did not find it funny. They continued to report they flushed the pressure bladder several times, however the sediment would not clear and they would be back tomorrow after water tests were done. (Tuesday) I didn't hear from them the next day. (Wednesday) The following morning I contacted them and was informed they were in the field all day and were going to perform the water test when they got into the office. I stated it sounds like nothing has been done, I expected better communication, and their services were no longer required. (Friday) Receive invoice via email.
-PNH fixed nothing.
-PNH failed to put my well cap in the same or better condition then when they touched it.
-PNH lacked basic communication and professional curtesy.
-PNH never provided water test results or recommended solutions.
BONUS: Several days after onset the problem cleared on it's own and I flushed my equipment. I contacted another company who sent out master plumber who conducted a water test on site, confirming the issue resolved and my family had drinkable water.
The new company stated this was a known issue for the area; heavy rainfall after a drought. I was given several specific recommendations for various improvements and products for my home plumbing system. The next business day I had everything new company promised in my inbox: official lab results, product recommendations with quote and a digital copy of my receipt. All that at the same price.

Following up (seems like Phil and crew are here every month or so). I was getting a terrible grinding noise from my garbage disposal, and couldn’t see or feel anything that might be causing it. I full expected that the blades were broken or bent and the disposal would need to be replaced. PNH came out this morning with a replacement, and could have easily just replaced it and charged me for a new unit. But they removed and inspected the old unit, found and removed a small metal skewer wrapped around a blade, and put it back on. Works fine now. That kind of honesty keeps me a customer of PNH.
I’ve hired Phil and company many times over the years. He’s honest, reasonably priced, and prompt to respond to service calls. Highly recommended.
