I can’t say enough good things about this company. From the moment our water heater ruptured (Thursday night), the team was incredible. I filled out a form online that evening and booked the first available appointment on Monday noting I was hoping we could be seen sooner.
Mike called us first thing Friday morning, made sure we were seen that day, which made a huge difference! Jamie and Mitch arrived that afternoon, identified the issue, and walked us through multiple options. This wasn’t our first time dealing with something like this, and they really took the time to understand both our short-term and long-term needs and concerns. At no point did anyone use pushy sales tactics. They asked thoughtful questions, listened carefully, and gave honest, practical feedback and service.
Ashton and Logan came that Tuesday, on time, to install our on-demand water heater, and the process was smooth from start to finish. They were both friendly, professional, and worked hard.
Mitch also kept us informed and checked in throughout the entire process, which we really appreciated.
Our experience felt genuinely personal—everyone we interacted with was kind, professional, and we felt cared for more than just being another job.

Plumbing repair we needed was quickly scheduled, completed, and tested.
Scott and Alex were friendly and professional. Scott had a better repair solution than what had been recommended to us by a previous service company.

I had an electrician come out to replace a GCFI outdoor outlet. The outlet was not working, which is why I called Pine State Services. The electrician quoted a high price to fix. He explained that he was quoting the max potential cost in case he needed to run new electrical wiring. If no new wiring was needed, he would adjust the price down.
No additional wiring was needed, the GFI was simply old and needed to be replaced. When I asked him about adjusting the bill down, he replied stating “well I had to drive to Gilman to get a part so.. yeah I’m going to keep the price as is”. Gilman is a mile down the road and all he needed to purchase was the GCFI. The work itself took about 30 mins or so and then he proceeded to sit in my driveway for 45 minutes after he finished the job before driving away.
I called the office manager (Melody) as soon as he left my driveway and she reported that “although the didn’t have to run new wire, he did additional work that justified the price”.
I was home and watched the repair. There was no additional work. Melody cannot list or itemize what additional work they claimed to do. Melody also stated that none of the additional work he claimed to do was listed on the invoice, however the electrician “felt” the price was justified. I paid $515 to replace one GCFI outlet. Outrageous and I feel completely taken advantage of. Would not recommend.

Great experience working with Pine State Services! Donny and Chris are amazing and so helpful with all of our needs.
