It was easy to schedule a service visit with Pillar Plumbing. The communication was excellent. The plumber who helped me, Tim Lang, wore shoe protectors when working inside and tackled my list of concerns efficiently. He is knowledgeable and shared advice with me regarding water quality and supplies I need to order. I will not hesitate to call Pillar Plumbing again if the need arises.

We had a water heater go bad late last night, so I called this morning. I didn’t think they would be able to get us scheduled for an estimate so quickly, but they got to the house within a hour and half of making the call. Their pricing is excellent, and more importantly, Peter didn’t attempt to sell me every option available. He addressed my concerns, gave me viable options and walked me through everything to make sure we were getting everything we need.

Tim was absolute perfection! From the initial meeting of him coming to assess our issues all the way to completing the repairs and installation! And let me not forget, he (and the owner, Dustin) was amazing assisting with my questions pertaining to payment options. This company truly went above and beyond and I will definitely recommend to others for their services! Great employees, overall customer service experience, and pricing. I couldn’t be happier with this entire process - and cheers to no more “knocking” on my walls from the pipes!

Ended up in a situation on Saturday where I needed to change out roman tub faucet due to a leak. Called my plumber who came to take a look and let me know that it would be an extensive job and couldn't take the work as he was headed out of town for a family emergency. When asked if he would recommend someone to me, he mentioned Pillar Plumbing. Being recommended by you competition carries a lot of weight in my opinion. So I called them up, its now just after noon on a Saturday. They answered and listed me for a late afternoon appointment. Thanks to the original builder of the home (30 yo home) and some of their questionable choices the project bled over into Monday afternoon. Jonathan Peters did miss a beat and ended up coming in clutch. At every new hiccup he had an answer. In the end he had me squared away like it was just another Monday. Price was reasonable, work was excellent, and hopefully I shouldn't have to worry about this project for another 30 years. If you're in need of a plumber I'd say Pillar is probably who you're looking for.

One thing I can say about Pillar Plumbing is they have some of the nicest people working for them, they have always responded to my calls very quickly, and I think they have treated me fairly. My recent service call was on the Aquasana Water Softener system that they installed for me back in February of this year. It is a DIY system and I have had problems with it. There are several components to it. An odor in the water keeps returning and the cause eludes me. I wated to bypass one of the components but it was hard plumbed so I needed to get it fixed. Peter with Pillar Plumbing came out the same day and made a bypass. I wasn't present when the system was installed so I have been questioning everything as to what maybe causing the smell. Aquasana tells me to do things, some meaning having to get Pillar Plumbing involved, not even counting this time. I am frustrated and this system has been costly. Pillar Plumbing has a water softener they use and are familiar with it. Would I have had the same problem with theirs? Maybe, but they would be dealing with it and not me. I went with Aquasana because I have used there filters for years and was satisfied. Water softener systems are fairly new to Aquasana, maybe too new. I am going to add this comment. I don't believe any company is perfect. There are things they could do better. I think of things I have done or built. I always find that I could have done it better if,,,,, or discover something that would make it better. Tim Lang worked very well with us. He explained things very well, telling us of the areas that will be difficult and why. I appreciated that he was up front now with those areas instead of starting work and then tell us. We don't know yet how much it will cost to do the work but right now, I trust that they are fair. 1/8/25 - update We felt like their estimate for the work was reasonable and told them to go ahead. Tim and Kyle started the work. They started the day on time, worked very well as a team, and accomplished a lot today. I am very pleased with their work thus far. 1/9/25 - update Tim and Kyle finished the re-pipe job today, pretty amazing. It took them just 2 days for re-piping and replacing the hot water heater in the attic, and two toilets. I am very pleased with their work and highly recommend them. They don't repair the holes that they have to make during the re-piping. There is another company they've worked with who can put everything back like it was, including painting, or you can use your own contractor. The person they work well with and who is the one I chose to do the repairs is Marco. His people did and excellent job putting all the walls back as before. Update: 8/5/25 Tim (Pillar Plumbing) had installed an Aquasana Soft Water system for me early this year outside the house. I had a shed like structure built to protect it by the same company that did all the repairs/patch work after Pillar Plumbing finished the re-pipe job (All-Pro Contracting). The Aquasana system is more of a DIY system. Pillar has a different system but they helped me out getting this one installed for me. Anyway, i recently started smelling an off smell from the water after the regeneration process and it tasted off too. Aquasana support said that the brine tank may have become compromised. I read through the process to clean and sanitize it but I felt like it was too much for this old body to do so called Pillar Plumbing. Tim came out right away this morning, emptied all the salt, cleaned everything, and reassembled it, put in new salt, and got it all going for me. Time will tell if this fixes the problem but I sure do thank Tim for his prompt response.
