We had big issues, a massive clog, and the job was relentless, but Jack and Zach were determined to get it done and managed to complete it, and save the day! They worked hard for several hours to get everything running smoothly again, the were very great at communicating throughout the process, and they did an amazing job! They were both easy going, polite, and professional!! They were even great with my younger boys and kind enough to answer all their curious questions...
I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone! They get the job done right, they are quick and efficient, and they employ kind men with positive attitudes and mindset to get the job completed! Thank you again, Zack and Jack!

04/2026: Updating this review to also say that I had a sediment filter installed by Michael with Mr. Rooter and he was a true professional. This was installed in my unfinished basement and Michael talked me through his concept prior to installation as he was also going to be constructing frame to support the filter. He worked completed his work fast and was efficient in his planning for the installation. Once the service was completed Mike talked me through how the foundational knowledge regarding the filter system and how to replace the filter in the future. I'm grateful to have a professional like Michael and would recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone.
12/2025: My water heater broke on Christmas and my family and I needed immediate help with getting a replacement unit. I first contact the big hardware stores and they contacted me late or gave me an estimate that was crazy. My wife and I thought to look for more local professionals and gave Mr. Rooter a call on 10 am on a Saturday and by 2 pm Michael was at my door with a new water heater and all the tools needed. He was very knowledgeable and professional giving his insights on the situation that cause my old heater to give out. He also provided me his recommendations for performing routine maintenance and gave me an idea of a future solution for installing a filter system as the town I reside has hard water.
Not only do I recommend Mr. Rooter but I would also recommend Michael. In this situation my family could not go without hot water and they treated my situation as an emergency by provided a solution the same day unlike the larger hardware stores.

Kind, courteous, professional, knowledgable, skillfull, and incredibly friendly too! What more could you want out of a plumber or any service provider for that matter?
In fact, I couldn't have been happier with the entire team from Mr. Rooter of Saratoga Springs - from my first interaction with Karen on the phone through Tyler promptly arriving at my home to scope my system and provide a fair quote through meeting John and the team as the repairs got underway. This is one great operation and one I'll be using for years to come!

My wife and I had a terrible experience with this company. They came out to repair a clogged pipe and were on site for over two hours but failed to fix the problem. Worse, they left the sink leaking and told my wife the issue was fully repaired, then charged us.
After realizing the problem was not fixed, we called another company, who resolved the issue in about 30 minutes.
The most frustrating part was dealing with ownership regarding a refund. The owner laughed at my wife when she requested one, assured her it would be issued, and now nearly two weeks later we are still waiting. When we called again, the owner was rude and told us we would have to drive 30 minutes to their office to pick up a refund check and wouldn’t just refund our card.
If you are looking for a company that is reputable, stands by their work, and treats customers with respect, I strongly recommend avoiding this company

The technicians were on time and friendly. When I described the problem when I made the initial call, it did not get passed down to the technicians. But I readily explained it to them when they came. Unfortunately, because of the system that I have (grinder pump) they could not really do much for me, but they assured me that everything seemed to be working in proper order.
