We just spent $21,000 to replace a sewer line (lateral) installed by Mr. Rooter in 2021. Unlike their competitors, Mr. Rooter only has a 2-year warranty. For the repair/replacement we hired Wallin Plumbing and they did a fantastic job, AND they give a 5-year warranty on everything they do.
When Wallin dug all of 10' down to access the point where Mr. Rooter had tied us into the city line back in 2021, they discovered that Mr. Rooter had done some very odd things, and installed a line that would never last. It didn't. We started having trouble just a year after the initial work, but Mr. Rooter kept showing us videos and claiming the line was good, we were just being hard on it. Their competitors would show us videos proving it wasn't fine, but it was "he said/he said" and we let it slide. Our mistake!
Bottom line: for anything bigger than a clogged toilet, steer clear of Mr. Rooter. Not only will they do a bad job to start, but then they'll do whatever they can to avoid standing behind their work.

Christian Garcia-C. was my tech and he did a great job informing me every step of the way. And his description on my invoice was detailed and accurate. I will gladly use Mr. Rooter again! Invoiced Description of Work on 6/10/24: Customer stated that their shower valve was continuously dripping and could not close all the way in their upstairs guest bathroom, we inspected the valve and customer has the water turned off and the cover plate off, we recommended on replacing the shower cartridge and customer agrees. We begin by attaching our Moen cartridge puller onto the old cartridge and carefully pulled out the cartridge, customer has supplied the new cartridge and we inserted the new cartridge, we turned the water back on and at this time there is no leaks. We installed a new shower head and cover plate and because the parts are already provided by the customer we cannot warranty the work.

Today we were so fortunate to have Richard and Juan in our home to resolve our plumbing issues! Mr. Rooter has been our trusted plumber for two years now, and they continue to exceed our expectations for excellent customer service! They always stand behind the work they do and provide expert service in a very timely manner. We thank Juan and Richard, as well as Jerome, who was initially on this project. We also thank Janet, Sharon, and Manny in the front office who always manage to get us scheduled in record time! It’s very comforting to know we have Mr. Rooter Plumbing as our house Guardian Angels!

I’ve used Mr. Rooter for several years. I’m always pleased with the plumbers they send to my house. I had to have some plumbing work done before Thanksgiving and was extremely impressed and pleased with Armando. He was very knowledgeable and addressed all of my concerns. I was also impressed with one of his helpers—Richard. Mr. Rooter sends a notification, along with a picture of the plumber assigned to your case, when the plumber is on his way to your house. Very helpful! Any time I have a plumbing issue, I know who to call!

Christian did a great job at replacing our old rusted kitchen water shutoff valves. We appreciated his professionalism and politeness. He took great care at cleaning up making sure everything was clean and dry. We also appreciated getting a same day appointment. We will always call Mr. Rooter for all our plumbing needs.
