I had a lead service line and worked with the city of Milwaukee to get it replaced. Mid City was the contractor that the city hired. The team was led by Anthony Scott, and everyone was extremely professional, organized, and thoughtful. They made sure my house, inside and out, stayed as clean as possible and answered all my questions throughout the day. They started promptly at 8:00 am and were finished early afternoon. Very thankful for lead-free water!

I would never hire this company because of the wreckless driving of there employees in company vechicles. The last time i checked it is illeagal to pass on the right even if it is farm equipent. The truck was an Isuzu box truck and it passed on the right on National Ave in Vernon on 6-2-26 about 6:10 am. Unfortunately I was unable to get the plate number.

We had them come and replace our lead water line, they came and did their work, but damaged our recently replaced sewer lateral. Their backhoe dug within inches of our lateral ,this has been proven to be true by locating crews. We were told to give them 3 weeks to respond, it's passed, now we are responding. I believe their crew clearly knew they damaged the sewer and chose to bury it rather than report it to their boss, we are getting tree roots blocking the system. That crew wasn't planning on that happening. Go elsewhere, plenty of places that will do better work....we're just getting started we can't let them get away with this .

Seriously, I cannot suggest these folks highly enough. I have a 1909 house that had massive gas leaks all over the place as the old gas fixtures had never been properly capped or disconnected. The work they did getting me a whole new run of gas piping was absolutely solid, and minimally invasive. Yeah, some walls had to be opened up, which I expected. But then they went and figured out how to run in so that all the wall exposure happened in areas that were covered by appliances or in the closets. The techs were pleasant, efficient, and explained everything I needed to know. Is it possible that I could have gotten a lower price tag somewhere else? Probably. But when you're talking about pressurized explosive gas coming into your home, that's not a place to cut corners. They do a quality job, and I have absolutely NO doubt that the work was done safely and to code.
Edit: Just got the bill, and I'm pleasantly surprised. 2 days of solid work and it came in much less than I had feared. They are not the cheapest solution to your problem up front, but trust me, their work is the best value you could ask for. Their work will still be good when this place falls down around it.

My old furnace stopped working overnight. They responded to my midnight message bright and early to get me scheduled that same day. Their technician showed up on time, was very professional and knowledgeable. He could tell I was in a bind, and found a way to get me a new furnace the same day! (within my budget as well) The work was flawless and I highly recommend their services.
