We recently had mini splits installed in our big-ass Victorian by McMahon. Our house was always freezing in the winter and boiling in the summer. And because of the layout of our place (lots of rooms/no real open areas) we had to have so many window units that it never really cooled anything down. But that's not the case anymore. And we couldn't be happier.
From the start, everyone at McMahon was just awesome to work with. Our first contact was Steven, who explained everything to us and helped us problem solve for what would be the best solution. After we decided that, Ledi did most of the installation (always with a helper). Ledi does more work in a day than I do in 3 months. He was just great (even our pets loved him). The electricians were awesome. Everyone involved was stellar. McMahon even helped us with the MassSave info we wanted to fill out for an interest-free loan that was available.
I can not say enough about them. If you are looking to get any heating or cooling units installed, use them. You will not be disappointed.

I had a great experience with McMahon Plumbing and Heating from start to finish. Nick came out to quote a project at my commercial property and was professional, thorough, and transparent throughout the process. At my personal home, Pat came out to check a heating concern and performed a detailed inspection to ensure everything was operating properly. It turned out there was no real issue, but I appreciated how thorough and honest he was. Both were knowledgeable, courteous, and easy to work with. I highly recommend McMahon Plumbing and Heating to anyone looking for reliable, trustworthy service.

The technician Ledi informed me the installation of my new heat and hot water boiler for my house will take 3 days to finish during which I’ll have no heat nor hot water in the cold days of December. I accepted the reality and allowed the work to begin. The tech and his helper worked nonstop, no break even for coffee I offered, and the job was finished in 2 days instead. I now have heat and on-demand hot water for my house. This is what I call “under promise and over deliver”. Great job Ledi!!! Thank you for the clean and fast job.

I just have my furnace replaced by Rob and Jack at McMahon Plumbing & Heating and they did a great job with the installation. They were friendly and quick to get the job done. Thanks to them, we now have heat in our home.

Great experience getting a furnace/air handler serviced by McMahon. Very lowlift experience, they took care of ordering the part, replacing. Sent out two technicians to initially assess the issue. Sokol, who ultimately did the replacement, is outstanding; incredibly detail-oriented and thorough and careful, and his handiwork is top-notch. Would highly recommend him. Communication with the office was sometimes a bit cluttered (seems like front of house staff were not always clear with what the technicians were up to, and had to reach out on my own initiative to get updates rather than their office calling me), but ultimately, would definitely work with McMahon again
