Subject: Complaint Regarding Fraudulent Service and Misleading Warranty
I am writing to formally complain about a company that installed a water heater in my home for over $1,600, along with an additional insurance policy. Shortly after installation, the water heater malfunctioned. When I contacted the company for service, they claimed that the insurance did not cover the issue and insisted that the problem was caused by the chimney, not their work.
They referred me to a chimney company, which quoted over $2,000 for repairs. I paid over $200 just for a chimney inspection, but upon inspection, I found that the chimney was in good condition and did not appear to have any issues.
Later, I purchased insurance from PSEG, and they were able to fix the problem by simply replacing a small part. Since then, the water heater has been functioning perfectly for many years.
This experience leads me to believe that the original company engaged in fraudulent practices

Mike and Tom located and repaired a leak behind a wall and cupboards in my kitchen.
It was a majorly difficult job requiring replacement and rerouting of old pipes.
The finished product was beautiful and no more leak.
Mango charged an amazingly fair price, provided efficient and professional service.
Would recommend fully.

The level of service and professionalism by this company is top notch! The prices are the cheapest in the area and they provide the very best service! Recently had a water heater installed same day by Russ, whom was very professional, polite, and explained everything to me from A-Z. He did fantastic work. Great technician, and a great company! Will be using these guys for everything plumbing in our house in Livonia! Thanks!

They arrived on time, told me what the problem was, and how much it would cost before they started the job. He was friendly and professional and gave me a fair price. I was glad I got the referral from a neighbor and a friend and would be happy to do business with them again!

Will performed several small jobs on one visit. He was efficient but not rushed, and patient with a homeowner who likes to know what’s going on. The quality of the work was excellent, and cost less than I expected. This was my first time using Mango Plumbing, but won’t be the last.
