Usually the old adage is 'good, fast, cheap - choose two' but unfortunately Lynn’s seems to have chosen speed at the cost of both quality and price.
My experience with the installation of an HRV in my unfinished basement involved:
1) trouble with the sales rep over promising features only to walk them back later.
2) The expert technician not arriving onsite early to indicate intake/exhaust port drilling sites.
3) The crew that did the work were unfamiliar with how to install the unit. This led to them drilling the holes incorrectly, sealing them improperly, attaching the HRV lines to the furnace and exterior incorrectly, not properly attaching the electrical to the furnace, and using improper ducting tape for sealing lines.
4) When I, as the homeowner, identified that there were some problems, Lynn’s only sent their expert after I froze the cheque to them.
5) As I was unsatisfied with the situation, at this point the issue was raised to upper management, who repeatedly called outside my stated availability.
Once contact was made we arranged for an independent contractor to assess and repair any issues.
All the clerical staff and technicians that I spoke with were very professional, but the larger corporate structure left much to be desired.
My impression is that of an overworked staff stretched thin by new management trying to raise profits for next quarter.
Hopefully this episode will encourage structural changes, allowing the company to remain successful going forward.
In summary: if price is no object and you need something simple done fast, you’ll probably be fine with Lynn’s - but make sure you check over their work. Management prefers to send rookies first and experts only if you spot a mistake.

We are returning customers of Lynn’s. Mark had serviced our furnace and a/c unit for the past few years and today we met Travis. Mark had told us in the fall that the furnace motor was aging so when a grinding noise started up a few weeks ago we knew it was time to call them back. Travis discovered it was the inducer motor. He was able to replace it and we now have a VERY quiet furnace. All the work was completed within a couple of hours - including Travis driving from St Vital to Polo Park and back again with the new motor.
HIGHLY recommend Lynn’s for all your plumbing/heating/cooling needs. Last summer (2025) they replaced our hot water tank and again, fantastic work and quote didn’t change. The key here is that we are RETURNING customers. THAT speaks volumes.

A friend reccd them to me, and I have no regrets using this company. Moved into a new house with a cluster of problems. Admin lady is super nice and good at figuring out what me, the distressed customer, is freaking out about. Plumbers are A+. Love Beanz, he's super affable, good at explaining, nice to interact with, which, if you've been through the wringer, is like a beacon of hope in the dark of endless repairs.

I have recently replaced the furnace and hot water tank with Lynn’s, the installation was done yesterday. I got a fair price and an excellent install service. Three technicians came and did very meticulous and conscientious job. I am 100% satisfied with the service so far.

It was time to replace my aging furnace and called Lynn’s for a quote. They didn’t even have to come down, I provided pictures of the furnace and surrounding area. Received a quote in short order. Lynn’s wasn’t the cheapest but still very well priced and offered a great product and high service reviews. I chose them to install the new furnace and definitely made the right choice. Very professional, excellent installation, fast and very good communication. 100% recommend!
