I’ve used their services twice now for a water heater replacement and updating an old leaking shower valve. Both times SETH has delivered quality service and great communication. I’m satisfied with the quality of work performed.

I hired them as one of the pipes in my laundry room burst and flooded my first floor. I paid them $8000 to begin work. They quoted me 18k first but it ended up being a 20k plus quote at the end. I got charged $3,651.19 for “water mitigation” which was 9 fans and 2 dehumidifiers, they were left on for 4 days. At Home Depot this would have run me ~$1500 which means I paid $2151.19 for someone to just drop them off, plug them in and leave them running. Nothing else was done. (promised to spray I don’t know what to avoid mold and other things and they weren't done) The actual leak took 2 months to be fixed on their time (it was a total of 5 but I was waiting on my insurance for 3) I got charged $1000+ for the fix, at that price you would expect the wall to be fixed as well but it was not. Parts were no more than $100. I understand paying for experience but $900+ for an hour of work is not common in any way shape or form. They kept requesting more money so they could continue working. I did not give them any as I did not feel they had done $8000 worth of work. But let’s add the last costs We have around $3,349 left. I asked to get this money back as no work had been done for 5 months (plus the other 5 of waiting for the leak repair) I was sent an email saying that “demolition” and moving furniture was not included in the previous prices. They removed the carpet in the living room and took out a lot but not all the baseboards, damaging several places while doing this. For the furniture they just moved 1 fridge and 1 table plus 3 plant pots, as I had moved everything beforehand and tried to dry the place with a shop vac. So, we are talking about 170sq feet of carpet being removed, even at 5 dollars the sq foot it should be about 850 plus the baseboards we can go to $1000 (very generous) to make it even. Which means they “charged” me $2,349 to move a table a fridge and some potted plants. The only reason I called them was so I didn’t have to do this myself. I ended up losing money and having to do it myself anyway. first pic they called my insurance and added the "water mitigation" cost. second picture is how I had left the place after spending all night vacuuming the water, as you can see there's no furniture but the table. third pic is all the carpet they took out and tried the floor but said "we'll do it later" but never did this is the hole where the leak was which was not covered up. (had to cut myself all that stuff in the floor as it started to get moldy and wasn't cut the first time) Doing the work and buying tools/supplies will be cheaper than hiring them. Save yourself the headache.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly I recently had an experience with JC Enriquez Plumbing that I feel others should be aware of before doing business with them. The Good: I initially connected with this company at a home and garden show, and scheduling an appointment was straightforward. The technician who first came out (Seth) was excellent; he was courteous and took the time to look at an additional issue I mentioned with my reverse osmosis system while servicing my water heater. The Bad: Seth diagnosed the issue as a simple fix requiring a replacement water tube to resolve a water leak. I purchased the part he recommended and scheduled a follow-up visit, agreeing to a $289 service fee for installation. Unfortunately, Seth became unavailable due to illness, and another technician, Joe, was sent in his place. The Ugly: Joe assessed the same issue and completely contradicted the original diagnosis, stating the entire reverse osmosis system was inferior and needed to be replaced—even though it was only about a year old. Based on his insistence and claimed experience, I reluctantly agreed to purchase a new system. He stated the $289 repair fee would be applied towards the new system. Shortly after, I contacted the system’s manufacturer directly and learned the issue was covered under warranty. They offered to send a replacement part at no cost that would resolve the problem. I immediately called to cancel the new system order. That’s when things took a turn. I was told I would still be charged the full $289 service fee—not for installing the originally discussed part, but for what was described as “work performed,” which amounted to simply releasing air from the system. This was a minimal action that took only seconds, yet it was billed as a full service. Final Thoughts: This experience left me concerned about inconsistent diagnoses, upselling of unnecessary equipment, and questionable billing practices. I strongly recommend that anyone considering this company seek a second opinion and clarify all charges upfront before agreeing to any service. I’m old enough that I’ve been doing business with various service providers for almost 50 years. So I’m not a young person just figuring this all out. I felt Joe’s practices were predatory and in bad faith. Proceed with caution.

JC Enriquez BUYER BEWARE They will rob you blind. We spent more than $35,000 with JC Enriquez within just a few months, including over $4,000 for four new toilet installations and more than $30,000 for a bathroom remodel caused by a plumbing issue. The remodel took over six weeks, and during that time we were displaced from our bedroom and had to move into a spare room upstairs. Recently, I noticed the caulk around the bathtub seal was coming up. It took more than two weeks for someone to come out, and the repair itself took only about five minutes. Instead of handling it as a courtesy, I was told the work had been installed in January 2024, the warranty was only for two years, and I was a few months outside the warranty period, so technically I should be charged got a $150 service call. While he were here, one of the toilets they had installed also needed a very minor adjustment inside the tank. Again, I was told I was just outside the warranty period and would have to pay over $150 for a service call for what was essentially a two-minute fix. I understand that labor is not free, and I respect that service companies have to charge for their time. However, after spending nearly $40,000 with this company, I expected at least a little courtesy and goodwill for such small, quick adjustments. Instead, I was met with a rude attitude and a complete unwillingness to help unless I paid another service charge. My biggest issue is not just the warranty cutoff. It is the lack of professionalism, courtesy, and customer care after we spent so much money with them. The experience felt very transactional: take the money, then refuse to stand behind the work in any reasonable way once the big project was done. Based on our experience, I would not use this company again, and I would strongly encourage others to be cautious. Get every warranty term in writing, keep all documentation, and be prepared for them to request proof and charge service fees even for very minor issues. Or just avoid them all together and don’t do business with them. Buyer beware

JC Enriquez is a family owned business and has been our go to plumbers for many years. Whenever I call, someone comes out either that same day or the next day. The last job (faucet repair) was completed efficiently and quickly. Any questions are answered and no added or unnecessary services advocated.
