I’ve used Environment Masters since I bought my first home and have continued using them in my second home. I’ve always felt the service was excellent, so much so that I even did a commercial for them that ran on television and in print. Until today, I never considered using another company.
I called for service because my thermostat wasn’t working. Since I have a service plan, they were able to send someone out quickly, which I truly appreciated. The technician was professional and did an excellent job.
However, I was charged $425 for the thermostat replacement, not including the $88 service visit fee. I paid it at the time because I trusted it was a fair price. Afterward, I looked up the thermostat and found the same model retailing for around $122 at most. I called the company for clarity and was told it’s a flat fee that includes technician fees. It’s hard to understand how the additional labor and fees could justify an extra $300.
I’m very disappointed by the excessive pricing with a company that I always felt was charging fair prices.

Customer service reached out to me today. This issue has been rectified to my satisfaction. I appreciate their care and concern with customer satisfaction. That’s the Environment Masters I know and love.

Don (HVAC) and Isiac (Plumbing) both came out at different times and accessed my problem in a timely fashion. Both were very prompt, professional and very knowledgeable. They got me back up and running in no time. They both came the same day that I put the service call in to Environment Masters. I highly recommend!! Thanks to both of them!!

I had a great experience. The customer service was excellent from scheduling to completion of the water heater service. Isiac B was knowledgeable and professional and told me what to expect at every step. There were no surprises with cost and I was advised about how to maintain my systems going forward which was very helpful!
