Called ElJay emergency # &"Dennis" so very clear, "educational", skillfull& encouraging&efficient(!) helping to us know what to do till Monday. On Mon. "Mike" came & was also amazingly knowledgeable, efficient-while-also-friendly--and explained what "he needed to do "for now, & "for us to watch for/do differently" in the future to prevent much larger water-main shutoff issues (we've older home) for future. We are so Very Thankful for the helpfulness, expertise, integrity and all character from these two!! We will definitely "spread the word" --you can trust them for both integrity, timing, knowledge, skills and "education"!--and kindness!
And receptionist April is also very personable, knowledgeable & helpful! Thankyou Team!

Brandon was super helpful! I had estimates from other companies of $1000+ for a frozen pipe, when I told him the issue he knew it was simple and didn’t need the work the others recommended. He told me what to do myself and it was fixed! Very honest and would totally recommend

I called ElJay on 1/25/2026 at 1:00 pm for service on a furnace not working. They forwarded my message to the technician on call. Waited 4 hours and called again. Gave information to another person and they forwarded it again. Found out 4 hours later that they don’t do residential calls. This whole time they didn’t have the decency to call or let me know on the initial call. If you ask me that’s poor and crappy service. I would and will not use or recommend them to anybody. I wouldn’t call them to unplug my toilet. I plan on letting everyone I know in the apartment maintenance business to use five star or Opie’s at least they’ll show up.

El-Jay Plumbing has become my go-to for any plumbing needs. I’ve used them several times—some urgent, some routine—including a hot water heater replacement, toilet repairs (twice), a new toilet installation, and a bathtub/shower issue. My most recent service was today. Every plumber they’ve sent has been professional, respectful (I really appreciate the use of shoe covers without having to ask!), and genuinely helpful. They’re reliable, trustworthy, and consistent. As a homeowner, it’s a relief to have service professionals you can depend on, and El-Jay Plumbing is exactly that.
