I would like to say when I reached out to Choates, I was frustrated, disappointed, angry, and over it. Not with them but another company that stood me up 2 days in a row (well known company). The first day they came was a total waste of my work day because the issue was not found.
So, after doing a little research I decided I would go with Choates. From the initial phone call I felt I had made the right decision. The young lady that assisted me with the appointment was reassuring, eager to assist, and very professional. I managed to get an appointment the very next day, AND THEY SHOWED UP!!
There were two guys who showed up to look at my air conditioning unit that was not working. I do remember Cam’ron Baptist as one of the guys. When I say professional, I don’t say that lightly. They made sure they wore the shoe covers no matter how many times they came in or out, they had them on. They were very knowledgeable and diligent about identifying the problem. The other company stayed at my home for almost 6 hours without identifying the problem. I think Cam’ron Baptist and the guy with him discovered the problem in about an hour (give or take). They explained the problem, the cost, and a guesstimate regarding ordering and receiving the ordered part. I was highly impressed and felt confident I chose the right company.
Another thing that impressed me was, when my part came in a little shy of a week, the young lady asked if I wanted them to come the same day to install it (the evaporator coil).. unfortunately I was working that day but they were able to accommodate. The same guys came back to install. It took a few hours but let me say, I would choose Choates over and over again.
Sometimes it only takes a little bit of professionalism, accountability, availability, understanding, punctuality and knowledge to assure a new customer they’re in good hands. I received all of that from Choates🙌🏽
Try them out! You won’t be disappointed!!

The lead Tech as well as the other two techs were very through and professional. Easy to talk to. Very job oriented
and focused on the task at hand. Very hard working knew what was needed and worked well together.
Answered questions about the A/C i.e. size of unit, type of refrigerant, placement of air filters etc.
I like the new thermostat with updated features missing from my older unit.
I would highly recommend Conway Services. Enjoyed meeting with Charles Craig who was very thorough and detailed about the process from beginning to end.
My heating system was also updated at a price I could manage.

The service I received was excellent. I received next day service on a complete HVAC system installation. The assigned attendant (Joseph) was prompt, courteous, and attentive to my specific needs. The pricing was higher than I had anticipated. However, Conway offered convenient financing options.

Called to have Conway check my HVAC. It is a 3 year old Goodman system that was working. I called because I wanted my system checked out because my interior humidity was high and I wanted to make sure everything was ok. My system was cooling fine. Tech came out said he checked everything and could not identify any issues. He suggested that I ensure my fan setting was on Auto. I watched the tech throughout his inspection only stepping away for short periods of time.
Before he left I mentioned that the system had not come back on and he stated that it was reset to program mode so that I would need to be adjusted manually. I had to finish some work outside and come back in about 2 hours later and find that my HVAC system is not working at all know.
Seriously I called for check up and now no AC. Called back they said it would tomorrow between 0800 and 1200. I guess I am lucky the temperatures are not that bad right now or this would be a more serious issue.
I am optimistic that the tech who comes can correct whatever the tech who checked my system today did. But I will likely not never use Conway Services again nor recommend them to anyone.
Update: I am modifying my review to change my review of Conway Services from 1 to 3 Stars since they sent a Senior Tech (Marcus) out and they arrived at 0845. Marcus was able to correct the issue and had my system working properly within 15 minutes. I am giving Marcus 5 stars.

Conway did an excellent job. I had them come out to replace a hose bib and Matthew discovered that the pipe in the wall had already started to give out. He replaced the old pipe and bib with a frost free unit. I would highly recommend.
