Austin plumbing did a mini split in my home. They were very professional ,good communication. The job was completed in a timely manner. They cleaned up after they were done. Great job I would hire them again.

I called Manuel at Austin Drain, Gas & Plumbing because I needed a new water heater quickly. They came out and gave me an estimate and installed it the next day. Nate did an excellent job. He cleaned up all the old pipes and it looks and works great. Very professional and showed up when they said they would. Even called the next day to see that everything was good. I will call them again when I need to and definitely recommend them to anyone. Thank you for such a good job!!

I hired Austin plumbing for a water main replacement. The estimate was competitive and the job went very smoothly. The problem arose when a branch pipe was rotten and needed replacement. While the job was supposedly completed, a leak was also created as a result. I refused to pay for the second job until the leak was fixed. The owner constantly called and texted harassing me. Even going as far as to demanding me to dig the hole for him. Very unprofessional

Great service from Austin Plumbing. We had our cellar unexpectedly flood when a pipe split. Our letting agent managed to get someone to pump the cellar out, but no one was available to fix the pipe. After calling round a few people, Austin plumbing were able to come out the same day and get it sorted. Great communication and a really neat job. Thanks again. Would recommend to anyone.

Unprofessional, belligerent, manipulative, aggressive, and dishonest. We worked directly with the owner of the company and will never work with him again. We have evidence, in text and audio, of him harassing us over a leak he caused.
We hired Austin Drain, Gas & Plumbing Services for plumbing services. The initial issue started with the pricing. The owner told us one price, then his partner told us another. It was quickly resolved and we were charged the original price told to us by the owner.
While working on Job #1, they caused a leak. He said "we won't screw you over" and would fix it for a fee. This created Job #2. The fee to fix the leak was high. I figured the fee included the difference of the discrepancy for Job #1.
When they finished, we noticed the leak was not fixed. We paid them, in full, for Job #1. They were paid. They gave us a receipt.
We did not pay them for Job #2 because the leak was still present. We discussed this with the owner. The owner said, again, he'd fix it. It did not get fixed. This went on for 5 days.
In those 5 days, we were harassed and accused of "not wanting to pay" by the owner. Job #2, the leak which he created, was not fixed. We received several vulgar text messages as well as belligerent speech over the phone. We continued to reiterate: Fix the leak and you'll get paid. He begins forwarding us private messages between him and his partner which also contain profanity. Initially the owner says he can fix Job #2, then he says he can't do the job because he doesn't have experience. His own words, not ours. So, why are we being harassed for money for a leak he created that he is saying he cannot fix?
Anyway, we came to a compromise. He said WE would have to buy the parts and he would come in to fix the leak. Still for the same fee. So not only was he still going to charge us for the job, it was now our responsibility to buy the parts. Then we receive a text saying it is our responsibility to dig a hole. That was the final straw. We called him and again he became belligerent. We discussed going to civil court.
Now you're reading this and thinking, why did you still deal with them? Because they actually did a good job with Job #1. We were trying to be patient, understanding, and compromising. They used stories of hardship, death in the family, spouse car accidents, and being single parents, etc etc. We later noticed flaws in his stories.
We learned our lesson the hard way. Which is why I'm writing this review so you don't have to.
In the end, his partner took the reins and instructed us to block the owner's number and only deal with him, the partner. So bizarre. His partner came over, fixed the leak, and he got paid. The end.
The owner's behavior confused us and his messages were, to say the least, insane. I'm not sure if he was intoxicated while sending those messages, but the messages and his speech over the phone were completely unhinged. I do not recommend this company at all unless you want unprofessionalism, miscommunication, and harassment.
