I’ve been using this company since 2022 and I always recommend them to others since they were recommended to me. They usually have the best rates in town. I was very saddened by the poor service today. The owner is always great at answering the phone and trying to help over the phone to save cost. He often encourages trying it yourself at home before calling. He even has recommended stores and tools to purchase. He has always sounded like a nice “uncle “ that you can call when you have plumbing issues. This is why I am shocked at today’s experience. This morning I called asking if they had time to fix our toilet because it wouldn’t flush. The woman said yes and quoted me $120 per hour with an hour minimum. This was not shocking because I used them multiple times. She said the owner would give me a call if they could fit us in. He called at 11 to let me know Adam would be over by 1PM. This was great! The same fast efficient service I’m use to. However when Adam arrived he said he had to take the toliet off which is something that always happens when they come to our home. Adam then asked me to take a photo of my card and text it him. I was very uncomfortable with that but because I trust the company I didn’t complain. I then check in with Adam and he is wrapping up he said he took a piece of plastic out the toliet and it would cost $400. I was shocked. I didn’t complain I just called the owner because I am familiar with him. I expressed my concern he basically said he stands by his technician and only the technician would know what it would cost to do the job . He said what ever he quoted me would be the cost. I was shocked at his tone and his unwillingness to hear my concern. I paid the $400 but I will not be using the company anymore

Bad drain clog on weekend, so a panicked Google search led me to American Sewer... They got me squared away over the weekend here, and the total price was less than what I was expecting the weekend truck-roll cost alone to be. The clog was a challenge, but they totally rocked it -- EXCELLENT experience from start-to-finish. Everyone from American was super nice and awesome to deal with. If you have a drain issue, look no further - call these folks and you'll be in GREAT hands. Thank you again, American Sewer!!

I was quite happy with the recent job by American Sewer -- friendly and prompt. Their charge was very reasonable. I did not do comparative price shopping this time, but my memory is that their charge was considerably less than that by a major company, which did my sewer a decaade ago.

This company is top notch. We hired them to come clean our sewer and we ended up needing additional work done. Seth and Jonathan are honest and hard workers. They are knowledgeable, friendly and most importantly they do amazing work. Would recommend them anytime to anyone! Thanks guys! Very reasonable pricing as well

We had a kitchen backup New Years Day. American Sewer was prompt and a great technician got our kitchen drain going in no time. Very thorough job and offered some maintenance advice too. A++++ highly recommended for their service, communication, know how, reliability, and trustworthiness. Give them a call for all of your drain cleaning needs!!!
