Matthew Pieper was my dude!
I had a toilet issue where it was sitting two shims high and rocking back and forth. We even had a flood on Easter, so I had a pretty good idea something wasn’t right. After doing some “YouTube University,” I figured the flange was too high and the wax seal was probably shot—especially since the house is from the 60s.
Matthew came out, listened to everything I explained, and didn’t brush it off. He said, “Let’s pull the toilet and see what we’re working with,” which I really respected.
Sure enough, once he pulled it, it was exactly what I thought—a bad flange, bad wax seal, and the flange sitting way too high. From there, he got to work. He removed/repaired the flange, ground down the cast iron pipe so everything sat level with the floor, installed a new flange properly, and reset the toilet.
Now the toilet sits solid and level—no rocking, no issues.
And just like YouTube University, he knocked it out professionally. These guys aren’t corner cutters. I had a whole week of studying this stuff—hours every day—so I knew what needed to be done. Watching him work, he did it exactly how it should be done, step by step, with real professionalism.
What stood out to me was that he actually listened, confirmed the problem, and then fixed it the right way instead of cutting corners. Super professional, knew his stuff, and made the whole process smooth.
On top of that, they even sent a quality check guy right behind him to inspect the work. He showed up about 15 minutes after Matt left, which honestly impressed me even more. That level of follow-up says a lot about the company.

Totally professional quality work and done when stated for a reasonable price. New water heater and water treatment system installed today and totally satisfied. Brad the plumber gave us an estimate and he came back and installed the job which was great to have the same guy both bid and do the work. I have had One Tom plumbing do all my work over the past 2 years and they are fantastic.

My family was in need of a pluming company and a friend of mines told me call 1 ton plumber . I called the dispatch ( Jennifer ) was amazing and another young lady I spoke with. So (Jacob) came out on 2/1 . He was so professional young man took his time found out the problem fixed the leak it was a drain issue we was having . He was so patient and he had several other jobs to go but you would have thought we was it the way he made sure he resolved the issue … Great experience!! I don’t even do review but this one was well deserved 💯💯💯💯💯💯 and he cleaned up 💯
